Let’s hear it for the girls! Have you ever wanted to climb and explore what the climbing wall has to offer? Do you want to share climbing with your close female friends? We’ve got the hour for you! Girl Power Hour is a fantastic opportunity for females to experience climbing in a supervised environment and to empower one another to crush it on the climbing wall. An instructor is present to answer questions, give belays, and teach climbing tips and skills as needed. The best part? If you or your climbing partner do not have any climbing equipment of your own rental equipment is included in the $10 admission fee to this exclusive hour program! The wall is closed to the public during this time so bring your daughter, mother, sister and self over for an hour of fun challenge by choice and encouragement.

Please register at the Breckenridge Recreation Center Front Desk. A parent or legal guardian should complete a Climbing Waiver for each participant before the activity.

Presented by: Domus Pacis and Breck Create

Come join us for an evening of classic soul and old school rhythm and blues with Ron Ivory and the One on One quartet along with the Miles Apart Band. This Motown Tribute will take you back to the soulful music of the 60s and 70s, including songs by such artists as The Temptations, Marvin Gay, Smokey Robinson, The Supremes, Aretha Franklin and many more. As an additional treat, a four-piece horn section will be added to the group to authentically recreate the sounds of the era. The night’s performance will benefit Domus Pacis Family Respite’s mission of providing families going through their cancer journey with a week of respite and peace here in Summit County’s high country.

Fall is in the air, which means it’s time for the 2nd Annual Broken Compass LostOberfest shindig!

The LIVE MUSIC will be bumping all day long. Shaky Hand String Band is kicking things off right at 11 AM, with Grant Farm headlining the day from 3-6 PM. Tina Ferguson will wrap up the performances with an indoor show from 6-8 PM.

Our brewers are perhaps most thrilled to be once again tapping our German MARZEN, made with 100 percent German malts and hops and the perfect fall lager to quench your thirst. CHOCOLATE PUMPKIN PIE STOUT will be back as well, making its first appearance in more than a year, and we’ll be sprinkling in some other specialty releases throughout the day, so keep an eye out for more beer updates!

We’ll have FREE German-style breakfast burritos available for the first 50 customers of the day, and a variety of delicious food trucks throughout the day.

COSTUME CONTESTS and CORNHOLE for all you competitive folks out there. Time is TBD for the cornhole tourney, and the costume contest (as this was a Halloween-based shindig at heart) will be from 2-3 PM!

Keep an eye out for more info coming in the next few weeks, and see you in your lederhosen!
